the l.a. county museum of art hosts an excellent film program that includes previews of high-profile films generating oscar buzz. in past years jimmy and i have seen pre-release screenings of 'dreamgirls', 'la vie en rose' and 'no country of old men'. this tuesday you can catch 'slumdog millionaire' and next month there will be screenings of 'doubt' starring meryl streep and philip seymour hoffman which has gotten great early reviews and 'the wrestler' which is supposed to guarantee an oscar for mickey rourke. check 'em out at http://www.lacma.org/programs/FilmListing.aspx
